Previously, it was known as the Newbery Uzi, this production of the bat was later picked over by Mongoose and later launched under the designation MMi3.

The Mongoose bat is not the standard cricket bat. Blade is 33 percent smaller than the standard cricket bat, and its handle measures 43% larger. 

The design of this bat allows you to have more power to hold, which allows you to make full-on attacks instead of playing defensive. This will be a good fit for the style of the T20 format. 

The bat was revealed in the hands of Matthew Hayden in IPL 2010 which he played for the whole season using this bat.

The bat has received a number of criticisms from former cricketers. Former Australian Test Player, Stuart Law claimed it to be a “half-brick-on-a-stick”. It was a popular choice by contemporary cricketers such as MS Dhoni who believed that Hayden could create magic regardless of the bat he used.

Why Mongoose bat isn’t the one to watch out for?

While the bat was created specifically for use in attack however, it did not work for most people.
